Be careful how you trash, and
Be careful how you trash, and don't forget to buy money! Counterfeit was great for getting rid of coppers, but then the Rats had little to trash except curses obtained via ambassador. Then the Knights trashed my silvers and golds. It finally got interesting again when my wife used Graverobber to retrieve knights from the trash to counteract my remaining knights. Wandering Minstrel is great if you have useful actions, but be careful, you'll discard all your money and have nothing left but actions! Caravan Guard or Envoy are the way to go to actually draw more cards that you will use. Quite a fun two-player game; I would like to see it played with 3 or 4 players.
