The thief seemed overpowered

The thief seemed overpowered for this deck, in a 5-player game anyway. The dominance of the thief resulted in a very slow, and poor game. The final scores ranged from -3, to a winning 12. The highly-anticipated Possession card never even came into play, as nobody could afford it.

I've just played with three

I've just played with three players, and the Thief didn't seem overpowered at all. In fact, if anything it was kind of underpowered. Throne Room/Possession was really the dominant force of the game.

2-player: University +

2-player: University + Council Room + Throne Room + Possession was the dominant strategy. Once my opponent was getting three turns for every one of mine it was the most snowballing game of Dominion I've ever played. I'd need to play more to figure out if Familiar and Apprentice are valuable or just distractions.
